If one has sexual intercourse with ones wife for reasons other than procreation, is it a sin?
If one has as many children as one can afford should one stop having intercourse with ones wife and sleep in the spare room?
I have read that one can attempt to prevent pregnancy by only having sex during a wifes less fertile times. But surely this is (a) Russian roulette (b) Trying to cheat. God knows that in your heart you are trying to thwart him.
I think you will find that Catholicism is vehemently against married couples having protected sex. All Popes’ state that it IS a biblical sin
