can someone give me information on “Russian Brides?”?

If that’s what they’re called? I’m a little uneducated on this topic. Are they real or are they like spam? What is their motives? Cause the other day, I received an email message from someone named “Elena” with two pictures added. Good looking girl, but she went on talking about herself and I’ve no idea who she is. I deleted the email, but its been bugging me wondering about it. I’ve always had a thing for Russian Girls..

Their motive is to get out of Russia.

You typically meet somewhere like Mexico(Cancun is popular), and if you can agree you decide to get married and she has dual citizenship after some time.

Then she divorces you and marries someone with more money.

That’s the tale around here from someone that tried it – but I don’t blame her… he was kinda weird.

Also-
I knew a woman here at work that was a “Russian bride” – she was very nice, but I think she too ended the marriage and got another job.
