During the Lebanese Civil War my father (pure Arabic and spoke no Russian) was offered to study at a university in the Soviet Union, he studied there, lived there, worked there, married a Ukrainian woman, children were born there, including myself… most of the family speaks all Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian fluently… He eventually moved back home though. But I know another Syrian family who still lives in Ukraine today since the USSR still existed…
Seems like the Russians and Soviets were pretty nice to Arabs no? Were they friends? Allies?

Russia sold a lot of their arms to the middle east, especially Iran who still have a lot of old Russian Guns, Missiles, Vehicles from the 70′s.
Don’t Tell Her About Other Russian Women you Are Writing To
I do not recommend that you tell the other women you are writing to or meeting that you intend to pursue other women. Some of them may figure this out on their own or will assume that you are writing to or meeting other women.
Really they don’t want to know about other women. Don’t tell them what they don’t want to hear. If they ask you, don’t lie. But don’t volunteer any information except that you are serious about your goal to find a woman that you want to marry.
Don’t tell her you are going to see someone else after meeting her. Remember, any information can and will be used against you.
My future wife interrogated me about meeting other women when I first met her. After badgering me for a long time, I told her the truth yes, I was meeting other women.
When I told her the truth she became very upset. After we were married, she still brings this point up in our arguments.
From my standpoint, my intentions in meeting other women were relatively pure. I could understand her being upset if I were sleeping with all these women. But I was not. I was just interviewing them.
In her mind, I was sleeping with every woman I had ever written a letter to. Many Russian men use every potential opportunity to proposition women for sex and she figured I was just like them.
Every boyfriend she ever had cheated on her and she expected the same from me. Russian women believe that men cannot go more than a month without sex — like they will die or go blind or something.
So if you tell her you are visiting other women, in her mind, she imagines you sleeping with all of them, regardless of your assurances to the contrary.
