Should I message this guy on Perfect Match?

I recently signed up for an online dating site (Perfect Match).
At first I was really dissappointed, and just felt so horrible because every guy on there was totally out of my league, or we weren’t compatible.
Today, I got an e-mail saying that I had a new match, and I reviewed his profile, and we enjoy so much of the same stuff, and he lives about 30 miles from me, so it’s not far.
Needless to say, I am just scared on messaging him. Like, should I, or what do I say, and all of that good jazzy stuff.
Anyone have any advice? Oh, and the only thing is I’m 18, and he’s 23. So, maybe he might not like that?

The best way to find out is to try.

You’ll know nothing about him before a small discussion. Speak to him as you would have spoken to anyone else. Be yourself. Don’t try to hide your age. (He’ll know about it eventually, and in any case he wouldn’t care, so why start a relationship with a lie?)

What should you say? Nothing incredibly complex. Say hello, tell him that you have common interests etc, and that you’d like to meet him. Period. Don’t say too much, and don’t say too little. Just enough.
