Foreign wife affect security clearance?

I will be an officer in the Air Force after BOTS in January of next year. Will having a wife from a foreign country, non hostile, affect my security clearance? Long-term? I will be a development engineer.

just make sure you let everyone up and down your chain of command know. it should, but from my experience does not.

I know someone who’s married to the daughter of a Soviet General (deceased) and it’s not effected his security clearance at all
