I am dating a filipino and i was wondering how to make his parents like me better?

I think it might have to do with the fact that i am mixed (black,white & hispanic) i am always respectful to them but still they do not like me.
I think it is becuase i am a mixed race girl black, mexican and white or is it that they do not want us to date becuase we are too you(we are 17)
