Is this guy a scammer?

I just met this guy on an online dating site and this is the first time I’ve been online dating and am a little skeptical…we’ve exchanged only one or 2 IMs…i was very happy because let’s just say this guy is really hot. It says on his profile he’s from Louisiana but I’m on the east coast. When we exchanged our 1st IM he said he was in Nigeria(this country’s reputation is well known) getting his master’s degree but is returning to my state and has a job with a big name computer company. However, his profile has disappeared off the original site where we made contact and I have no way of pulling it back up….he also has a my space page with same pic he sent me….there hasn’t been a request for money/assistance anything like that…I’m just trying to get some feedback/info to see if anyone else has seen/heard of this. Thanks

This meets all of the criteria for a big scam and a ripoff.
All the standards are there. I would disconnect completely from this dude, changing my email if necessary. When you get connected to one of these they wont turn it loose.
It is dangerous, non productive, and you could lose most of what you treasure. Lots of this going on. Cut loose fast.
