Is it a problem that there are so many white guys dating asian chicks?

It’s well confirmed that there are something like 9 white men dating asian women for every white woman dating an asian man. I used to think that was because asians were “fetishized” by american media. But while visiting China, the people there told me that its really white men who have been sexualized by asian media. And so I’m wondering, is it a problem that asian-american romances are so one sided?
